BRAECREST BEAUMONT

Braecrest Beaumont is a beautiful example of the modern warmblood athlete we are striving to develop in North America. Through his wonderful expression and good nature, presence, quality gaits, scope and excellent technique over fences, this young stallion has a very exciting future ahead of him.  He is a branded Oldenburg stallion, registered with the Oldenburg Registry of North America. Beaumont was presented to the Canadian Sport Horse Association for breeding approval in July 2015. He scored 9’s for correctness of conformation, 8’s and 9’s for his walk, trot, canter and free jumping. At the young age of 3 years old, Beaumont was approved with an impressive first premium score of 80.  In September of 2016 as a 4 year old, Beaumont was granted his breeding license with ISR/Oldenburg NA, after great success at his stallion inspection.

Braecrest Beaumont is sired by the Oldenburg stallion Banderas. Banderas carries some of the top jumping bloodlines in the world, including Balou du Rouet, Grannus, and Beach Boy.  Balou du Rouet is in high demand as a breeding stallion, and is known for producing type, elastic movers, and first class jumping ability. Grannus is one of Germany’s greatest sires, producing multiple international and Olympic jumpers and over 60 approved stallions.

Braecrest Beaumont’s dam is Kalonja. She is an imported Oldenburg mare sired by Pablo, out of Katharia by Figaro. Kalonja had a very successful Jumping career at the 1.50m and 1.60m level, before retiring to breeding. Pablo’s pedigree is very well known for exceptional jumping talent through his sire, Pilot, and has dressage recognition through Graphit.  Beaumont’s great grand sire ‘Figaro’ is a lifetime legend in the Oldenburg breed. He sired Grand Prix competition horses for both show jumping and dressage.

Beaumont is showing great promise to be a very successful Show Hunter and or Derby Horse. He will be making his debut in the show ring in 2017.

Beaumont’s first foal crop arrived spring 2015. They are a top quality group of foals, through their correctness of conformation and movement, beautiful faces and kind dispositions. Beaumont’s first son, Braecrest Bachelor, placed a very impressive 2nd place in the 2015 President’s Cup Foal Championship at the 2015 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, against 19 outstanding Canadian bred foals. His second foal crop born in 2016 is even more impressive than his first! What an exciting young stallion this is.

Beaumont is available for breeding in 2018 to a select number of mares, both live cover and A.I.
